摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a heat retaining container, which obtains the generated heat in the form of hot air, by a method wherein the heat is generated in a gas through phenomena such as friction and the like due to the stagnating action and constant reduced or increased pressure action of the suction gas developed by the rotation in the rotational region of a rotator provided in a hollow body. CONSTITUTION:When a rotator 10 is rotated by an electric motor 11, a gas flows from a vent path 6 through a gas suction port 8 into a hollow body 3. In this case, the amount of gas sucked in is less than that of gas discharged by the rotator 10 and the pressure in the rotational region R of the rotator 10 becomes lower as compared with the pressure in the remaining part and consequently the pressure in the whole hollow body 3 becomes lower. The difference between the pressure in the rotational region R and that in the remaining part and the difference between the pressure in the hollow body and the outside pressure gradually become larger until a certain pressure difference is reached and, after that, a nearly equilibrium condition is reached in relation to the gas flowing in the vicinity of the rotational region R and the resultant constant pressure state is maintained. Under said equilibrium condition, the phenomenon of stagnation of air is developed in the rotational region R of the rotator 10 and the friction action is repeatedly continued between the rotator 10 and the stagnating gas, resulting in generating frictional heat and consequently producing gradual temperature rise of the gas.
