PURPOSE:To raise the traveling performance of types by using a system in which errors originated from the differences in the kind of printers or type bands or from change with time are automatically corrected and regulated by a regulating sequence incapable of becoming printing mode in a belt-type line printer. CONSTITUTION:A type band 11 is engaged between pulleys 12 and 13 and run and driven by a motor 23. A given bias amount l2 is maintained for the balance traveling position, the relative position with a printing hammer is secured by a guide bearing 14, and the position floated by DELTAl from the position is detected by a detector 15 provided. On the other hand, the support shaft 16 of an idler pulley 13 is pivotally supported in a vertically movable manner on a sub-base 10' by means of the screw and regulatively driven by a pulse motor 17. By a procedure control circuit 18, and a sending pulse is sent out by regulating command from the detector 15 and stopped according to the signal of the detector 15. When a return pulse coincides with a preset sending value, a regulating sequence incapable of becoming printing mode is ended, and error of the type band is periodically and automatically adjusted. |
