A description is given of a sanitary fitting which comprises an integrally cast housing. Mounted on an upward-facing connection face of the housing is a control cartridge, the outlet opening of which communicates, via a cavity extending in the housing, with the outlet. Whereas, in known fittings, the inflow of the water to the connection face takes place at least partially through bores in a residual area of housing material forming an island surrounded in the manner of a ring by the cavity and the inlet pipes are secured on or in these bores, the cavity in the fitting according to the invention is continuous, i.e. is not annular. The inlet pipes themselves pass through the cavity and are sealed off on both sides from the latter. In this way, it is possible to manage with a single, simple core when casting the body of the fitting.
