<p>A coaxial connector assembly for releasable connection to one end of a semi-rigid coaxial cable comprises a screw threaded coaxial connector 26 and an outer sleeve 22 which slides over and compresses an inner sleeve 20 against the cable when a screw fitted coupling nut 24 is screwed on to the coaxial connector and urges the inner and outer sleeves into telescopic relationship, thus compressing the inner sleeve against the cable. The inner sleeve 20 includes angularly aligned slots 52, 54 to facilitate compression of the sleeve and the inner cylindrical surface of the sleeve has annular grooves to facilitate clamping to the cable. </p> |
