PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of skewing by providing a shaft with an auxiliary roller adjacent to a feed roller positioned more distant from the end portion to which driving means is coupled to feed a sheet with well-balanced feeding force. CONSTITUTION:A pair of feed rollers 4, 4' are mounted on a shaft 3 so that the feed rollers are brought into contact with the uppermost sheet of sheets 3 stored in a sheet support tray at two points, and a driving means 5 for rotating the shaft 3 to rotate the feed rollers and feed out the sheet is coupled to one end of the shaft 3. The shaft 3 of the above sheet feeder for feeding out sheets on the tray one by one is provided with an auxiliary roller 7 adjacent to the feed roller 4' positioned more distant from the end portion to which the driving means 5 is coupled. In this arrangement, well-balanced feeding force is applied to the sheet during a long use, which can feed out the sheet without skewing. |
