PURPOSE:To make the ratio of rates of air-conditioned flows blown off from both right and left discharge ports stepless variable by a method wherein slidable curved plates installed at the curved surface parts of a casing are shifted. CONSTITUTION:Air is sucked through a suction port 15 to an orifice 14 and then past through an impeller 3 and finally discharged from the right and left openings 11 and 11 of a casing 4. In this case, the conditioned air flow rates blown off rightwards and leftwards can be set at will by sliding curved plates 16 and 16 arranged on the opening parts 11 for blowing-off in two directions in order to set blow-off port widths (t) and (t') at desired values. In addition, because the total flow rate is kept constant, the rotational frequency of the impeller 3 is also kept constant and accordingly no increase of noise is resulted. |
