A device for matching the response pressure to the pressure conditions in the outlet line (12) in an apparatus for preventing return flow of a medium into the inlet line (10) has a pipe separator (2) and a pressure comparison device (4) assigned to the latter. The pressure comparison device (4) is an integral part of the pipe disconnecter (2).
