PURPOSE:To automate insertion of wire through a rubber plug with increased speed by providing a slave slider having a rubber plug inserting means constituted of a rubber plug supporter formed with a rubber plug mounting hole at the end. CONSTITUTION:A wire carry/hold means B is comprised of a chain clamp body 2 and an auxiliary clamp 3. A rubber plug inserting means C is comprised of a master slider 5 and a rubber plug supporter 7 mounted at the front on the side of a slave slider 6 mounted slidably on the side of the master slider 5. The rubber plug supporter 7 mounted with a rubber plug is driven by a cylinder 11 through the slave slider 6 to collide against the rear end of a wire guide 14 thus to collide the front end 6a of the slave slider 6 against the rear end of a stopper 9 provided on the head 8 of the master slider 5. Here, the rubber plug is restricted by the cover 15 to position the rubber plug reliably thus to insert the wire through the rubber plug. |
