发明名称 IGNITION TIME CONTROLLER FOR ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the backward rotation and resulting kick-back of an engine, by delaying the ignition time of the very slowly rotating engine to be after the top dead center at the end of the compression stroke. CONSTITUTION:An ignition circuit system I comprises control circuits II-VII. The circuit II generates a first saw-toothed voltage synchronized with the trailing edge of a negative timing pulse supplied from a pulser coil 20. The circuit IIIgenerates a second saw-toothed voltage of a larger gradient angle than the first saw-toothed voltage, between a positive and a negative timing pulses. The circuit IV compares the first and the second saw-toothed voltages or square-wave voltages with each other to generate a turn-on signal when the difference between the compared voltages is larger than a prescribed value. The circuit Vsupplies a trigger signal to the gate of a thyristor 13 on the basis of the output of the comparator circuit IV. The circuit VI is a driving power source for the control circuits. The circuit VII generates a swuare-wave voltage of higher level than the second saw-toothed voltage, for the duration of the negative timing pulse. As a result, the ignition time of an engine in very slow rotation range is delayed to be after the top dead center at the end of the compression stroke, to improve the starting property of the engine.
