PURPOSE:To simplify the loading and unloading of articles, by constituting a belt conveyor frame movable back and forth so that the belt conveyor is moved back and forth with respect to an loading and unloading bed with the use of a reduction motor and a flexible link. CONSTITUTION:A carrier vehicle 1 is approached to a loading and unloading bed 20 and is stopped, and thereafter, a reduction motor 17 is normally rotated. Thereby, an endless chain 19 is rotated to move a conveyor frame 7 to the loading and unloading bed 20 so that a stopper 14 abuts against the bed 20 to stop the movement of the conveyor frame 7, and the motor 17 is reversely rotated to drive a belt 8 onto which articles are transferred from the bed 20. After completion of the loading, the reduction motor 17 is reversely rotated to withdrawn the conveyor frame 7. The similar steps are taken for unloading articles. With this arrangement the loading and unloading of articles are simplified. |
