<p>PURPOSE:To easily execute the exchange of a main battery in the single body of a memory card with holding memory contents without connecting the memory card to an external device by providing a main battery attaching and detaching lock mechanism to cause the attaching and detaching the main battery to be possible or impossible while interlocking with the changeover of a switch. CONSTITUTION:The memory card is equipped with a switch 30 to selectively connect a memory circuit 10 and a main battery 18 and an auxiliary battery 28 and a main battery attaching and detaching lock mechanism 35 to cause the attaching and detaching of the main battery 18 to be possible or impossible while interlocking with the connection of the switch 30. Namely, when the main battery 18 backs up the memory contents of the memory circuit 10 and the main battery 18 is exchanged, the switch 30 is changed over and the auxiliary battery 28 is connected to the memory circuit 10. Then, a voltage is supplied and the memory contents are backed up. When the switch 30 is set to the main battery 18 side, the main battery attaching and detaching lock mechanism 35 locks the attaching and detaching of the main battery 18. Then, when the switch 30 is changed over in the auxiliary battery 28 side, the main battery attaching and detaching lock mechanism 35 is canceled and the main battery 18 can be exchanged.</p> |
