PURPOSE:To utilize the electric energy of a solar battery for the assistance of heating the heat medium of a heat accumulating tank effectively by a method wherein a heat accumulating tank heating heater is provided and the heater is connected in series to a D.C. pump and the solar battery while the resistance value of said heater is increased or decreased in accordance with the increasing or decreasing change of the output current of the solar battery. CONSTITUTION:The electric circuit 8 of the solar battery 6 and a pump 5 is switched into a condition that the circuit is connected in series to resistors r1, r2, r3 or interrupted from them by respective switches S1, S2, S3 provided so as to correspond to the resistors r1, r2, r3 provided in the heat accumulating tank 2 and constituting the heater H. When the sunshine is weak (current I1), the resistors r1, r2, r3 of the heat H are connected in series to set the voltage of the solar battery 6 into Vs. Then, the electric power in the area of diagonal lines (r1+r2+r3) in the diagram may be utilized. When the current is I2, the contact of the switch S3 is switched from the contact 1 to the contact 2. Then, the resistor r3 is short-circuitted and the electric power in the area of horizontal lines (r1+r2) in the diagram may be utilized. |
