<p>Silicone resin compsn. comprises (A) 100 pts. (wt.) hydroxylates organopolysiloxane of formula (I): where R1 is opt. substd. monovalent hydrocarbon gp.; n is 0.80-1.80; p >=3, m is such that the total OH gp. content of the cpd. is >=0.01 wt.%; (B) 1-150 pts. of an alkoxysilane of formula R4 Si(OR)5)4-c (II), where R4 is as R1; R5 is opt. substd. 1-6C alkyl; c is 0.1-2; (C) 0.1-20 pts. aminoalkylalkoxysilane of formula (III), where R6 is H 1-6C alkyl or aminoalkyl; R7 is divalent hydrocarbon gp., R8 and R9 are 1-6C alkyl and d is 0 or 1, and, as an improvement, (D) 0.5-150 pts. alkoxylated organopolysiloxane of formula (IV), where R2 is as R1; R3 is 1-6C opt. substd. alkyl; a is 0.40-1.7; q is >=3; b is such that the total alkoxy gp. content in (D) is >=5 wt.%. The compsn. pref. contains 100 pts. (A), 5-90 pts. (B), 0.1-20 pts. (C) and 1-70 pts. (D). The compsn. cures at room temp. and forms coatings having excellent solvent resistance, demoulding, hydrophoby, heat resistance and weathering properties. The compsn. is storage stable.</p> |
