Elements approx. 2.20 mm. wide are laid close together and concreted at their abutting joints to make up a ceiling, with top and bottom mat-reinforced concrete slabs. Elements comprise these slabs, and protruding mats embedded in them, together with intervening stem pieces, girders embedded in these, and displacement units between slabs and stem pieces. Mat cross wires protrude into an open space extending down to a bottom slab protrusion and are coverable here by short mats at the joint. The space is filled with concrete after cover mat insertion. The ceiling of prefabricated units can be laid without support.
