<p>PURPOSE:To enable to constantly performing appropriate lamination coating, by providing a means for detecting overlap feeding of a laminating material prior to lamination coating onto a recording material by a lamination coating means. CONSTITUTION:A recording paper 2 recorded thereon is gripped batween a pair of rollers 27 in the condition of being laminated with the laminating material 22 supplied from a cassette 21 on the recorded side thereof, and the laminate of the paper 2 and the laminating material 22 is heated and pressed by a press roller 30 incorporating a heater 31. Sensors S5, S6 for respectively detecting the overlap feeding of the paper 2 and that of the laminating material 22 detect the presence or absence of the overlap feeding by respectively detecting the thicknesses of the paper 2 and the material 22 being fed toward the roller pair 27. Accordingly, even when the overlapped feeding of the laminating material 22 or the recording paper 2 is present, the abnormal condition is detected, and it is made possible to avoid performing lamination coating in the abnormal condition.</p> |
