PURPOSE:To suppress and control a rapid overcurrent by transiently applying a pulselike large auxiliary signal to the input of a proportional integrating regulator for controlling to suppress the overcurrent only at the overcurrent detecting time. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary signal circuit 30 applies a signal of a current transformer 21 for detecting the output current of a power converter through a rectifier 22 to a proportional integrating regulator 26. The circuit 30 outputs a pulse signal when a power converter output current signal becomes a predetermined overcurrent value. When the pulse signal is inputted to the regulator 26, the pulse signal increases the apparent proportional gain of the regulator 26, thereby rapidly suppressing the overcurrent. |
