PURPOSE:To avoid deterioration of an oil, accumulation of slash and the like by a method wherein a cooling oil is held in a cooling oil sump and at the same time introduced to an oil outlet path to prevent the oil from flowing into a motor. CONSTITUTION:A part of a lubricant oil for an engine is introduced into a cooling oil sump 14 through an oil inlet path 15 and gets contact with the lower portion of an inside circumference surface of a stator 4 to absorb a heat generated by the stator. The coil, after cooling the stator 4, flows out to the bottom of a side cover 1b and an oil pan through an oil outlet path 20; in other words, an outlet 16, a vertical conduit 18a, a horizontal conduit 18b and an oil groove 17. A part of the oil which tends to flow toward the direction opposite to the outlet 16 in the cooling oil sump 14 is blocked by one end wall, i.e. a blocking plate 13, of the cooling oil sink 14 so as not to flow out of the stator 4. The oil outlet path 20 detours at least the end of a rotor 5 so that the oil which flows through the oil path 20 also does not flow into the rotor 5. |
