PURPOSE:To prevent the quench of the delivery wires in the vicinity of the main body of the switch in the superconductive switch composed of the main body of the thermal superconductive switch used for a magnetic levitating train and etc. and the delivery wires by fixing said wires to the main body in the place the wire is separated from the main body by the predetermined distance or over that. CONSTITUTION:When the starting end or the finishing end of the superconductive wire 5 of the main body of a switch is drawn to the outside, delivery wires 2 are drawn out from the opening of a heat insulating wall 4 surrounding the main body of the switch. In such constitution, the position of an insulator for fixation 3 which supports the delivery wires 2 present on the heat insulating wall 4 is kept apart from the opening by a distance L and the delivery wires 2 are fixed to the body there. Consequently, there is no displacement produced relatively between the delivery wires 2 and the main body and the generation of frictional heat or normal conductive transition consequent on the displacement does not occur. Furthermore, quench of the main body due to quench of the delivery wires 2 is substantially reduced thereby stabilizing the operation. |
