METHOD FOR REGULATING THE POWER SUPPLIED TO A STEAM TURBINE PRESSURIZED WATER NUCLEAR REACTOR

The turbine drives a generator providing mains electricty; and the control system adjusts the positions of control rods absorbing neutrons in the reactor core, and can also feed part of the steam produced by the reactor through valves into a by-pass circit and not through the turbine. A gauge provides the steam pressure on the first turbine wheel to an electronic circuit calculating the reference temp.(TREC) of the by-pass. The electronic circuit is also used to calculate the mean temp.(TMOY) of the prim. high pressure water circuit in the reactor.
