Hydraulic motor/wheel with rotating cylinder block 5 and axial pistons 7 of the type including a hydraulic motor element 12 secured to the vehicle and a hydraulic motor element 9 fixed to the wheel 14 of the vehicle, a plurality of cylinders located axially in the cylinder block 5 carried by one of these elements, pistons movable in the said cylinders, a means 8 for connecting the ends of the pistons to the shaft which carries the wheel 14 and a feed pipe 17, 18, characterised in that the motor element carrying the cylinder block 5 is built into a suspension element 1 mounted so that it can rotate about a shaft 2.
