<p>A method for obtaining uranium chloride from sea water utilizing its greater specific gravity by combining the technique of desalination of sea water through solar heat evaporation and that of obtaining common salt by allowing solar heat-concentrated sea water to flow down. The obtained uranium chloride is then dissolved in water and electrolyzed to obtain uranium hydroxide and uranium oxide. This method is conducted with the most economical advantage in dry districts of the tropics and the subtropics. </p> |
