PURPOSE:To automatically wind and cut a steel belt by providing a shaft for winding the steel belt, a roller to feed the steel belt, a cutting mechanism of steel belt, etc. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 12 for winding a steel belt 1, rollers 10, 10' to feed the steel belt 1 to the shaft 12, a cutting mechanism to cut the steel belt 1 which is wound around the shaft 12, etc. are provided. When the steel belt 1 is wound by one rotation and stopped, the circumference length of the steel belt being wound is measured by length measuring device and an arithmetic unit receiving a signal from the device calculates the next winding length of the steel belt and instructs the control circuit of a motor 13 to rotate it for required further rotations. In this way,the length of the steel belt 1 to be cut is determined and cut by a winding cutter 11 sequentially. Thus, winding and cutting of the long steel belt can be done automatically. |
