<p>A syringe guide (1), for use in the filling of a syringe (2) with flowable medicament, the guide (1) comprising an elongate body member (4) having a housing part (5) and an adjacent cradle part (6), the housing part (5) being, in use, adapted to retain, in a predetermined relationship with respect to the body member (4), a phial (3) containing the medicament to be administered, and having an open inner end (10) adjacent the cradle part (6), means (9) to retain releasably the phial (3) in or on the housing part (5), and the cradle part (6) being adapted to locate a syringe (2) on or against the body member (4) in a predetermined position with respect to the housing part (5) and hence a phial (3) associated therewith, such that the syringe (2) is automatically aligned axially with the phial (3) and hence the syringe needle (23) is automatically aligned axially with the conventional needle-penetrable cap (24) of the phial (3). <IMAGE></p> |
