PURPOSE:To control a room fan not to blow off cold air at the starting time of heating operation, by preventing the fan from starting at the same time when an air conditioner starts, by changing the operating timing of a fan in accordance with the stopping time of an air conditioner of heat pump type. CONSTITUTION:When the stopping time of heating operation is within an hour (b), a refrigerant is not condensed in a chamber and the temperature can rise again quickly because that on the high pressure side of refrigerating cycle is highly enough and that in a compressor 1 remains still high not being cooled. Accordingly a fan can be operated at the lowest speed in a certain time immediately after a heating operation is started, and then it is changed to a predetermined operating speed. On the other hand, when the stopping time has passed more than one hour (c), the operation is divided into two cases when the room temperature (a) is about 12 deg.C and above, and below it 12 deg.C (d). When the room temperature is above 12 deg.C (e), the same operation as of the case when the stopping (h) time is within an hour can be taken place, because the temperature felt by a human body is not so cold if the fan is operated at low speed (f) to blow off air from the starting. In the case of below 120 deg.C (d), the room fan 6 is controlled in such a manner that it is not operated during the first about 90sec from the starting, then is operated at low speed in about 60sec, and after that it is operated at the predetermined operating speed, because the air felt cold by a human body will be blown off if it is operated from the beginning even at low speed.
