PURPOSE:To maintain good travel stability under high speed travel, by regulating the damping force through manual exchange operation while transferring from low damping force setting position to intermediate damping force setting position when the car speed signal has exceeded over predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:One of low, intermediate or high damping force setting position is selected through manual operation of an exchange switch 1. A car speed signal is provided from a car speed sensor 31 through F/V converter 32 to a comparator 33, and if it is higher than the referential voltage Vs an output 1 is produced from the comparator 33. Said output is provided to a car speed signal gate circuit 30 and if a liquid pressure buffer T is at the low damping force setting position, it is changed to the intermediate damping force setting position. Since it is changed to the intermediate damping force setting position upon exceeding over a predetermined car speed, travel stability under high speed can be achieved. |
