PURPOSE:To expedite the positioning operation of a work as well as to improve productivity in metalworking, by providing both fixed and movable knock pins, which are engaged or disengaged to or from a pair of knock holes for positioning reference use to be installed in a square blockish work, and a transfer device or the like. CONSTITUTION:A pair of knock holes are formed in a work W to be mounted on a seat pat 2 of a positioning device body 1, while a fixed main knock pin 3 and a movable auxiliary knock pin 4 are set up at one side of the device body 1 corresponding to each knock hole. Also, a pilot bar 6 is installed at the side of the device body 1 along a transfer direction TR, and a movable block 5 to be transferred through a screwing of a feed screw and a nut rotated by a servo motor 7 is slidably installed in the pilot bar 6, while the knock pin 4 is retractably installed in the said block 5. In addition, a transfer device inclusive of a transfer bar 35 doing reciprocating motion in the transfer direction TR by means of a cylinder 36 and a turning arm 44 rotated by a cylinder 42 and going up and down along the said var 35 is provided for this positioning device. |
