An apparatus for changing a pressure medium's flow to a reciprocating motion in a drive component comprises a piston (3) in a cylinder (1) and a pressure controlled directional valve (15). At least one control body, which has a pressure medium passage (29) with two separate openings (30,31), is situated in a special auxiliary chamber connected to the cylinder. When the control body moves in the direction of a temporarily pressurised standing chamber (8) in the cylinder, a pressure pulse is forwarded from the chamber to the directional valve. The control body (21) has a piston shaped section (27) with greater cross sectional area than that part (26) of the body which moves into the cylinder. Because of its shape, the body passes a larger force in the direction of the cylinder than in the opposite direction as soon as the pressure medium passage's (29) first opening (30) reaches the pressure chamber and establishes communication between this chamber and the auxiliary chamber (23).<IMAGE> |
