PURPOSE:To enable to set a paper onto a platen speedily and easily, and enable application to automatic setting, by a method wherein a pressure roller and a feeding roller for a paper are operated by operating a single paper-setting lever. CONSTITUTION:A shaft end 62 of the pressure roller 22 is fitted to a supporting piece 61 provided on the paper-setting lever 20, and a projected part 63 of the lever 20 is engaged to an engaging part 67 of a spring member 66 to press the roller 22 against the platen 16. A shaft end 73 of the feeding roller 72 is fitted to an end part 70a of an oscillating cam 70, and is energized toward the center of the platen 16 by a tension spring 74. The lever 20 is rotated with a shaft 60 as a center, only the pressure roller 22 is separated from the platen 16 by engaging the projected part 63 of the lever 20 to a recessed form engaging part 68 of spring member 66, and the paper is automatically wound around the platen 16. In the case of manual setting, the projected part 63 of the lever 20 is clamped between a stopping shaft 65 and an engaging part 69 of the spring member 66, whereby not only the pressure roller 22 but the feeding roller 72 is separated from the platen 16. |
