Title compds. (Ia; R1=H, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, Ph; A=S, lower alkylenethio; l=0-1; B=lower alkylene; R3,R4=same or not, H, lower alkyl, cycloalkyl, etc.), useful as antiulcer agent, were prepd. by the reaction of II and III. Thus, 2g 4-(1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrazol-5-yl) thio-butyric acid and 1.1g triethylamine were dissolved in 30ml THF, and 1.5g isobutylchloroform was added with ice cooling, and stirred for 30min. 0.9g Diethylamine was added the soln., and stirred for 2hr to give 1.4g N,N-diethyl-4-(1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrazol-5-yl) thiobutylamide.
