PURPOSE:To uniformly supply a lubricant liquid to a slat conveyor and retrieve the liquid, by supporting an application roller rotatably in a lubricant liquid storage tank so that the roller is in contact with the lower revolving part of the conveyor and by extending a lubricant liquid reception plate so that it is connected to the tank. CONSTITUTION:An endless horizontal slat conveyor 1 is engaged with a pair of sprockets 4 mounted at a prescribed interval on a frame 3. Containers 2 are conveyed by the upper revolving part 1a of the conveyor 1. Plural holding rollers 5 and an application roller 6 are provided in contact with the bottom of the lower revolving part 1b of the conveyor 1. The application roller 6 has a metal plate 8 extending along the circumference and provided with numerous punched holes 7. The shaft 9 of the roller 6 is rotatably supported in a lubricant liquid storage tank 12 so that the lower half of the roller remains immersed in a lubricant liquid 14. A lubricant liquid reception plate 15 is secured on the upper front and rear edges of the tank 12 as to the direction of movement of the conveyor 1 and fastened to the frame 3 by brackets 10. |
