PURPOSE:To increase the number of input/output devices to be tested by connecting other input/output devices to the communication circuit units which are needed during a test. CONSTITUTION:The communication using a communication circuit is not needed to a central processing unit 1 when an input/output device is tested. Therefore an undesired communication circuit unit 5 is switched at the communication circuit side to connect an input/output device 72 via an adaptor 8 which performs the level conversion and the conversion of transfer speed. The device 72 is different from a using input/output device 71 set with intervention of an input/output device control unit 6. Then each of the devices 71 and 72 is tested via the units 5 and 6 respectively. Thus it is possible to increase the number of input/ output devices to be tested. Furthermore such a test is also possible that an input is supplied from devices 71 and 72 and then outputted from devices 72 and 71 of the other side. |
