PURPOSE:To inhibit careless operation by operating a reset switch which initializes an electric circuit associatively with a battery lid. CONSTITUTION:An element 8a is the movable contact of the reset switch and turns on by bringing its free terminal into contact with a fixed contact 8b. Both contacts 8a and 8b are both connected to the printed wiring board 12 of an electronic calculator electrically. The contact 8a is held separated from the fixed contact 8b while the battery lid 11 is open. When the lid 11 is placed in the battery chamber 7, an engagement part 11a for the recessed part 1aa of a lower case 1a brings the movable contact 8a into contact with the fixed contact 8b to perform resetting. Then, when the lid 11 is moved along the lower case 1a as shown by an arrow, the engagement 11a engages the recessed part 1aa. At this time, the movable contact 8a leaves the fixed contact to turn off batteries 9 and 10, fixing the lid 11. |
