PURPOSE:To send only the headed bar stocks, which are aligned into a right direction, into a chute and exclude the same which are not aligned by a method wherein the headed bar stocks in a hopper are sent to the chute and are aligned in a condition that the head parts thereof are supported by the chute and the leg parts are guided by the side surface of the chute. CONSTITUTION:A swinging rod 17 swings about a shaft 16 and a blade 18 is elevated and lowered under swinging about the shaft 16. When the blade 18 is lowered, it scoops a plurality of headed bar stocks which are thrown into the hopper 33 and when it is elevated to the upper dead point, the headed bar stocks 31 move slidingly into the chute 23. While the blade 18 moves from the lower dead point to the upper dead point, the shaft 29 moves in parallel to the upper surface of the chute 23 by the U-shaped groove 28 of the swinging rod 17. In the same manner, a slide plate 26 and a gate plate 30 move in parallel to the upper surface of the chute 23. The gate plate 30 moves to a position near the position B2 until the blade arrives at the upper dead point while the headed bar stocks 31, slided on the chute 23, passes through the gate 32 and are fed into the lower side under being regulated by the popping control of a head regulating plate 24. The bar stocks 31, which are not being aligned into the right direction, are returned to the hopper 33. |
