Tool for producing joints in a screed covering

To facilitate the formation of joints in a screed covering during production of the latter from an initially free-flowing screed mass, a tool is proposed which is designed as a rail and has, on the underside, projections which are preferably of pin-shaped design and can be inserted into a material layer arranged on or in the base of the screed covering. As a result, it is possible to fix the tool in the position desired for joint formation.
