PURPOSE:To enable a quick and continuous measurement of the corrosion developing speed of pipings and equipments providing for equipment which handles radioactive material and chemicals by properly computing the corrosion speed from a reduction rate of a specified electric charge in a measuring probe provide between opposed electrodes made up of a metal member the same in material as an object to be measured. CONSTITUTION:A measuring probe 6 is provided on the bottom and the side wall of a liquid cell in a concentrator 12 and the measuring probe 6 also provided on the bottom of a receiving tank 10 and pipings 11a-11c. The measuring probes 6 are connected electrically to a calculator 18 through a wire 17 and a specified electric charge is applied thereto while the corrosion speed is computed properly based on the reduction speed thereof. When the corrosion speed detected exceeds the specified value, the calculator 18 outputs a warning signal throgh a signal generator 19 to actuate an alarm 20 to alarm. At the same time, a valve 9 is closed to stop the delivery of a radioactive waste liquor 7 to the receiving tank 10. |
