PURPOSE:To obtain a fixing device with a small toner offset by arranging a fixing roller, pressure roller, and transfer paper in order as a frictional electrostatical charge sequence and providing a destaticization means which comes close to or contacts the pressure roller and is driven by a transfer paper detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A heat roller 1 is formed by covering a metallic hollow roller core 1a made of Al, etc., with a heat-resistive separation type resin layer 1b which is made of polytetrafluoroethylene resin, etc., and in negative order in the frictional electrostatical charge sequence about the pressure roller 2. The roller 2 has an elastic layer 2b of silicone rubber, fluororubber, fluorosilicone rubber, etc., around a metallic roller core 2a when the surface layer of, for example, the roller 1 which is negative in the frictional electrostatical charge sequence about transfer paper P is made of ''Teflon''. The conductive needlelike member 8b of the destaticization means 8 which is driven by the signal of a detecting element MSa for detecting the transfer paper P contacts the roller 2. The means 8 has a member 8b on a base 8a and rotates while a lever 8e is driven by a plunger 8h. |
