In order to make it more difficult to steal installed accessory equipment for motor vehicles, such as car radios or the like, which can be attached in predetermined installation openings with the aid of locking means and are provided with a cover which is attached to the equipment and which has through-openings which are aligned flush with the locking means and through which a tool which is provided for unlocking the locking means can be introduced, the through-openings are provided with inner threads and with closure parts which can be inserted into the through-openings and are constructed in a screw-shaped manner. The closure parts can be inserted into the through-openings by exerting pressure but can only be removed by a screwing process.
