The lamp has Nickel-Cadmium batteries which can be recharged from a domestic electrical supply, using an adaptor. The batteries and electronic control circuit are mounted on a printed circuit board inside the lamp housing. - A nylon housing is mounted on a stainless metal pivot assembly which can be easily attached to a standard bicycle lamp bracket. The circuit board is connected to the external terminal by conductive springs.
