PURPOSE:To detect and display whether a selective call signal is receivable or not by connecting a power source continuously by a control signal and processing logically the reception state of a received synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:When a switch 12 is turned on, a setting signal is sent from a generation part 5 to a control part 7, which controls a power source control part 11 to supply electric power to a reception part 2 continuously. Further, the setting signal is sent to a decision making part 6, which is put in operation in an optional period until a resetting signal is sent. Then, a collation part 3 collates a fixed synchronizing signal in each group among receive signals of the reception part 2 and sends the result to the decision making part 6 when the coincidence is obtained. The code error rate of the fixed synchronizing signal in each group is measured and the result is also sent to the decision making part 6. The decision making part 6 counts the frequency of the correct collation by the collation part 3 to decide on whether an electric field is intense enough for calling or not, and displays the decision result on a display part 9. |
