PURPOSE:To form an inexpensive magnetic bubble memory with less hardware by storing failed loop information to a failed loop information storage section in the inside of the memory element and reading in parallel the information stored in the minor loop and the failed loop information for read of data not to add a memory at the outside of the bubble memory element. CONSTITUTION:The write of a bubble train corresponding to the failed loop information to the failed loop information storage section 16 is performed by using a common generator 4 to a minor loop group 1, a write major line 2 and a gate 19. In this operation, the gate 19 performs the transfer-in operation. At the read of data from the minor loop group 1, a replicator 3 is driven to read the copy of the bubble train corresponding to the information from the minor group 1 and formed on a major line 2 and transferred and read to the detector 7, and then the gate 19 is driven and the copy of the bubble train corresponding to the failed loop information is extracted to a failed loop read major line 18 from the filed information storage section 16 and transferred and read to the detector. The operations are executed at the same time. |
