The invention relates to the creation, by means of a chain of balls, closed up on itself, passing through a tank full of water, of a vertical thrust, giving rise to a continuous rotational movement. Let there be a series of cylindrical balls (rubber) containing air, connected to each other; this chain being situated vertically in a previously empty tank. If this tank is filled with liquid (water for example), the chain of balls will undergo a vertical thrust (sum of the thrust of the balls) which will tend to cause this chain to move upwards. If this chain of balls is closed on itself, passing over two special wheels, with part of the chain submerged and the other part outside the tank. By making its inlet at the bottom of the tank using a special sufficiently sealed opening, the submerged balls subjected to the vertical pressure of the liquid will entrain a continuous rotational movement of the assembly of the chain, the balls outside the tank entering the latter one after another via the sealed opening at the bottom. This rotational movement may therefore be used for actuating alternators or various other machines. Opening at the bottom of the tank: the bottom of the tank is fitted with an opening very much smaller (30 mm) than the basic cylindrical ball (130 mm) of the movement, but allowing the said very flexible (rubber) and slightly inflated ball to deform for the purpose of penetrating into the tank by the presence of four rolling systems which take up and accompany the ball on its entrance into the tank. <IMAGE>
