PURPOSE:To minimize an exclusive driving part of a loader apparatus itself, to lower its cost and to make it small-sized, by allowing a loader arm having a gripper for gripping a work to be moved, and incorporating a driving source required only for said purpose. CONSTITUTION:In the loader apparatus that is combined with an NC lathe, a power chuck 3 is fitted to a main shaft 2 journaled by a head stock 1 of the NC lathe. Further, a capstan rest 9 bearing a turret 8 swingably and indexably that has a plurality of circumferentially arranged tools (T) is provided on a cross slide 7. A fluid pressure cylinder mechanism or the loader gripper 11 that will be opened by a motor and an unloader gripper 12 are arranged side by side in a vertical plane normal to the arm at the tip of the loader arm 10 with the gripping center located longitudinally of the arm 10. Thus, the loader apparatus can be small-sized at low cost. |
