The invention comprises an electrically conducting elastic flexible strip 3 which is led through the sheath 1 in a rigid or semi-rigid fashion to a height above the ground such that, regardless of the speed of the vehicle to which the said device is fixed, the air pressure exerted on the lower free surface of the said strip subjects it to a force which is always less than that capable of causing it to break contact with the ground. The invention may be used for ensuring comfort of the passengers of motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
