PURPOSE:The titled printer capable of stabilizing fixation with a simple construction, by a method wherein the ambient temperature around a light source is detected, and the quantity of light of the light source is varied in accordance with the temperature detected. CONSTITUTION:A temperature sensor such as a thermistor 57 is provided at a light fixing part C, and when temperature is in a normal condition, a predetermined electric current is passed to fluorescent tubes 26 through a solid state relay 51 and an inverter 54. When the atmospheric temperature in the part C is lowered, a signal outputted from a comparator 59 through buffers 61, 62 and a signal outputted from a comparator 60 through a buffer 63 are inputted into the first gate 65 to open the latter, and an electric current for compensating for the temperature fall is passed to the fluorescent tubes 26 through the second solid state relay 52 and the second inverter 55. |
