PURPOSE:To decrease the number of mirrors and to lessen the transmission loss of a laser beam in a joint device which guides the laser beam to a desired position by moving the mirror provided at the axial line of a joint so as to follow up the bending of the joint in accordance with the bending angle thereof. CONSTITUTION:The laser light emitted from a laser working machine 1 is guided by a guide cylinder 3 and a mirror 12 in a joint device 2 to a desired position. The reflection surface of the mirror 12 is on the axial line of a hollow hinge 11 and is moved to follow up the bending of the joint at 1/2 angle of the bending angle thereof by a planetary gear mechanism 13. The laser light is always correctly guided by the cylinder 3 with such simple mechanism and since the number of mirros is small, the transmission loss of the beam is lessened. |
