CONCENTRATED LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITION CONTAINING ALKYL BENZENE SULFONATE AND MAGNESIUM A concentrated light duty liquid detergent composition is described. The composition, which offers superior grease cutting and foam mileage, contains a surfactant mixture of magnesium alkylbenzene sulfonate, alkyl ethoxy sulfate and optionally, alkyl sulfate. The composition also contains a magnesium ion source in an amount such that the molar ratio of total magnesium ion to alkylbenzene sulfonate ranges from about 0.65:1.0 to 1.0:1.0.
