PURPOSE:To improve the Karman's detection sensitivity and the durability by fastening a cylindrical body at one end of a vortex generating body or tube body and shaping the other end thereof in a plate while the plate-shaped surface faces the flow at right angle. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical body 6 is fastened at one end of a vortex generating body 2 or a tube body 1 and one end 6a thereof 6 shaped in a plate to divide a pressure change detection chamber 4 into two. The plate-shaped surface at the one end of the cylindrical body 6 faces a flow at the right angle and pressure introduction openings on the side of the vortex generating body are so arranged as to be positioned on both sides of the plate-shaped surface. Furthermore, a pressure change detection mechanism is fastened with an insulator or the like and constructed on the surface of an elastic base material in such a manner that a varying pressure due to a vortex introduced from the pressure conduction openings is arranged at the axial symmetry of the cylindrical body. This invention can improve the Karman's vortex detection sensitivity and the durability. |
