PURPOSE:To improve the rigidity and vibrationproof performance by forming a series of closed sections over a range extending from the upper edge of a dash lower panel to a cross member. CONSTITUTION:A closed section is formed by fusing a dash lower member 11 onto the chassis front side surface of a panel 12 in the longitudinal direction, and a closed section is formed by connecting the lower sedge part of the dash lower member integrally with a dash lower cross member 14 under the panel 12. Said dash lower cross member 14 is arranged having with its upper edge part fused onto the lower part of the dash lower panel 12 in the direction of car width, forming a closed section by being formed integrally with the slope part 12a of the dash lower member 12, and a concaved part 14a for receiving the dash lower member 11 is installed at the part corresponding to the member 11 and superposed onto the member 11. |
