APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLABLY LIFTING REAR BODY OF CARGO VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To prevent securely mulfunctions of an apparatus for changing over a rear body selectively between cargo loading/unloading operations and operations of housing the rear body in the rear surface of a cargo box through the operation of a change-over member, by providing a detecting switch for detecting the change-over operation of the change-over member. CONSTITUTION:An engaging member 28 for securing fixedly an operation member 15 to a rear body 12 to maintain the rear body 12 horizontally and engaging removably an engaging hole 27 is inserted slidably into a cylinder 26 fixed to a reinforcing frame 25 of the rear body 12 to be operated through a connecting rod 30 by a control lever 29 projecting sideways of the rear body 12. A detecting switch 33 is provided to detecting the change-over condition of a change-over member A consisting of the respective members 28-30. And when the detection switch 33 is turned on (to operatively house the rear body), a relay R1 is excited and contacts r1', r1'' are respectively changed over to ON and OFF so that a motor M for a pump can be driven by turning on a housing switch 44 under such a condition.
