PURPOSE:To position both horizontal and inclining orientations without exchange of parts and regulation even if the height of a machine is varied, by a method wherein the expandable coupling leg of the support leg of a sheet discharge conveyor is adapted to be relatively slanted on both sides of a line extending normal to a floor surface when the conveyor is in each of a horizontal and an inclining orientation state. CONSTITUTION:When a chopper device is in use, a sheet discharge conveyor 13 is lifted togetherwith a leg 45 to engage a stay 52 with a bent part 54a. In which case, if regulation is effected so that a coupling leg 55 is grounded when the conveyor 13 is brought to a horizontal state, there is no need for further regulation. A chopper folded leaf is carried over to conveyors 13 and 12 to convey it to a stacker. Further, when a device is shifted to a parallel double folding process, a coupling lever 50 is lifted to rotate a conveyor 13, the grounding side of a support lever 46 is moved from position, shown by a chain line, to position shown by a solid line. When an inclining angle theta1 of a coupling leg 55 becomes equal to an angle theta2, the link motion of a leg 45 is stopped, the start end of the conveyor 13 corresponds to the terminal end of a conveyor 14 in a manner that the start end is positioned flush with the terminal end. This causes carrying over of the parallel double folded leaf, in order, to the conveyors 14, 13, and 12 to accumulate them on the stacker. |
